Raul Gonzalez backed for Real Madrid role amid ongoing Arbeloa crisis

Legendary manager Vicente del Bosque has publicly backed Raul Gonzalez to take over the coaching duties at Real Madrid as Alvaro Arbeloa struggles to navigate the club’s current mid-season crisis.

Legendary coach Vicente del Bosque has endorsed club icon Raul Gonzalez to lead Real Madrid’s first team.

Speaking to El Larguero, del Bosque praised Raul’s coaching potential, stating, “For me, he is a coach that could be a candidate to train Real Madrid, of course.”

He further noted Raul is one of his “weaknesses” and expressed high confidence in his future career.

The endorsement comes as current manager Alvaro Arbeloa struggles to stabilize the club following Xabi Alonso’s January exit.

Arbeloa has faced criticism from former teammates, including Ivan Helguera, as the team remains in crisis.

Having spent six years developing talent at Castilla and winning the UEFA Youth League, Raul is increasingly viewed as the prime candidate to take the reins at the Bernabéu.
