Former Real Madrid and Brazil full-back Roberto Carlos is recovering in hospital after undergoing heart surgery.
Roberto Carlos, 52, had the operation in Brazil after initially being submitted to hospital to undergo tests on his leg.
Sources close to the 2002 World Cup winner indicated he is now in the process of recovery.
