The San Jose Earthquakes have officially acquired German international striker Timo Werner from RB Leipzig on a permanent transfer.
The 29-year-old forward signed a Designated Player contract through June 2028, marking a major statement for the MLS side.
Head coach Bruce Arena praised the acquisition, stating, “To have a player of Timo’s caliber coming in is simply outstanding for the club and the community.”
