Pundit Shaka Hislop slammed Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze, calling him “non-existent” during the defeat to Aston Villa and arguing he should have been substituted “after 30 minutes” due to his lack of impact.
Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop heavily criticized Arsenal star Eberechi Eze for his performance in the recent defeat to Aston Villa, labeling him “non-existent.”
Hislop argued that Eze was ineffective and could have been substituted early in the match, especially as all of Arsenal’s attacking threat came solely down the right flank.
Hislop told ESPN that he was willing to praise the player, but insisted, “He could have been taken off after 30 minutes, I’ll be honest.”
He added that since everything came through Bukayo Saka, the necessary change “had to be made at half-time because Eze was non-existent.”
