Super Eagles goalkeeper joins South African side

South African club TS Galaxy have officially unveiled Kayode Bankole, the former Remo Stars goalkeeper and Super Eagles prospect, on a two-year contract.

Bankole joins the Betway Premier League side as a free agent following the expiration of his deal with Remo Stars.

The 22-year-old, known for his sharp reflexes and composure, was instrumental in Remo Stars’ back-to-back CAF Confederation Cup qualifications, while he played a part in their first-ever league title last season.

TS Galaxy confirmed the signing on Friday, describing Bankole as “a valuable addition to strengthen our goalkeeping department.”

The move marks Bankole’s first venture abroad, as he looks to establish himself in South African football.
