AC Milan completed a comeback from a 2-0 deficit to beat Torino 3-2, with Christian Pulisic scoring twice despite a fever, securing three points to keep the Rossoneri joint top of the Serie A table.
According to a report from Football Italia, AC Milan rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat Torino 3-2 in Serie A, securing a win that kept them joint top of the table with Napoli.
Torino took the lead with a Nikola Vlasic penalty (10′) after Fikayo Tomori’s handball, followed by a Duvan Zapata goal (17′).
Milan cut the lead seven minutes later when Adrien Rabiot scored a stunning long-range strike (24′) to make the score 2-1 before Rafael Leao limped off injured (31′).
Despite suffering from a fever, substitute Christian Pulisic was instrumental in the comeback, equalizing with his first touch in the 67th minute from an Alexis Saelemaekers cross.
The American then completed the victory by scoring the third goal (77′) via a cushioned half-volley, making the final score 3-2.
Pulisic’s brace marked his sixth and seventh Serie A goals in just nine appearances this season.
