Two reasons why Bruno Fernandes is ready to leave Man United

Speculation regarding Bruno Fernandes’ future at Manchester United has intensified following the dismissal of manager Ruben Amorim, as parallels emerge between his current situation and his departure from Udinese earlier in his career.

The 31-year-old captain is reportedly unsettled by the club’s continued underperformance and the loss of a manager with whom he shared a close bond, mirroring his exit from Italy where he noted,

“The three years I spent at Udinese were not easy in terms of the team because we didn’t have great campaigns… they decided to change manager after so long with Guidolin, and it didn’t go very well.”

While Michael Carrick has taken charge for the remainder of the season, the club faces a significant challenge in retaining their playmaker this summer—especially with interest from Bayern Munich and the Saudi Pro League—as Fernandes previously admitted that his prior teams “had a strong team, but we weren’t able to achieve what was expected of us.”
