UEFA has reported record-breaking revenues exceeding €5 billion for the 2024/25 season, driven by the commercial success of its new men’s club competition formats and increased solidarity funding across the European football pyramid.
UEFA’s financial results for the 2024/25 season, ratified at the 2026 Congress in Brussels, reveal a landmark year for European football with total revenues surpassing €5 billion for the first time outside of a men’s EURO year.
This financial surge was spearheaded by the new men’s club competition formats, which saw revenues climb to €4.4 billion, allowing for a record €3.4 billion distribution to participating clubs.
Furthermore, the governing body demonstrated its commitment to the broader game by increasing solidarity payments to non-participating clubs by 76%, totaling €308 million, while reinvesting €68.5 million into grassroots and educational programs.
Despite a planned net deficit of -€46.2 million covered by reserves, UEFA maintains a stable financial foundation with €521.8 million in remaining reserves, ensuring that elite success continues to fund the entire pyramid from youth leagues to national associations.
