Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has rejoined Galatasaray’s first-team training following forearm surgery, utilizing a high-strength protective brace to accelerate his return for the Super Lig title run-in.
Galatasaray has confirmed that Victor Osimhen has returned to training after three weeks sidelined by a fractured forearm.
The Nigerian striker underwent surgery following an injury against Liverpool and is now following “a specialized program prepared for him, accompanied by physiotherapists.”
While he has rejoined his teammates for partial sessions, the club is taking significant precautions to ensure his safety during the title race’s conclusion.
To facilitate his return, Osimhen will wear a custom-made brace reportedly four times stronger than steel.
Training photos show the forward wearing the protective gear, which is designed to prevent a season-ending re-injury.
The club aims to have him match-ready for the critical Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe on April 26, a fixture that could ultimately decide the destination of the Super Lig trophy.
