Nigeria’s Super Eagles Head Coach Eric Chelle has named a 24-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Play-off Tournament in Rabat, Morocco, recalling Maduka Okoye and Raphael Onyedika to boost the team’s chances against Gabon.

According to Arise News reporting, Super Eagles Head Coach Eric Chelle has announced Nigeria’s 24-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Play-off Tournament in Morocco, with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye and midfielder Raphael Onyedika making notable returns.
Captain William Ekong headlines the squad alongside striker Victor Osimhen, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, and defenders Bright Osayi-Samuel and Calvin Bassey. Also listed are 89-cap midfielder Alex Iwobi, defender Benjamin Fredericks, and midfielders Frank Onyeka and Wilfred Ndidi. Forwards Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman complete the experienced core.
Nigeria will face Gabon in the first semi-final at the 22,000-capacity Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan in Rabat, while Cameroon plays DR Congo at the El-Barid Stadium.
Chelle also recalled Spain-based forward Chidera Ejuke, with Tolu Arokodare, Jerome Akor Adams, and Olusegun Olakunle joining the attack. Defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi will miss the match due to suspension.
Players are expected to arrive in Rabat on Monday, November 10.
