Kenan Yildiz, named Man of the Match following Juventus’s 2-0 Champions League win over Pafos, stated that he believes he “could’ve done better” despite his side’s improved second-half performance.
Yildiz provided an assist as Weston McKennie and Jonathan David scored in Turin after the team was jeered off the pitch by frustrated home supporters following a difficult first half.Â
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, the young forward reflected on the performance, noting, “It was a good performance, I think the first half was good too and we were lacking a goal, but we had more determination after the break and did well.”
He added, “This victory is for the team, I can also do better when I missed a goal.” The win provides a morale boost after a painful league defeat.
