Yildiz praises Juventus victory, acknowledges room for improvement

Man of the Match Kenan Yildiz deemed Juventus’s 2-0 Champions League win over Pafos “a good victory” but insisted he “could’ve done better” with his personal performance despite providing an assist.

Kenan Yildiz, named Man of the Match following Juventus’s 2-0 Champions League win over Pafos, stated that he believes he “could’ve done better” despite his side’s improved second-half performance.

Yildiz provided an assist as Weston McKennie and Jonathan David scored in Turin after the team was jeered off the pitch by frustrated home supporters following a difficult first half.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, the young forward reflected on the performance, noting, “It was a good performance, I think the first half was good too and we were lacking a goal, but we had more determination after the break and did well.”

He added, “This victory is for the team, I can also do better when I missed a goal.” The win provides a morale boost after a painful league defeat.
