Chelsea women’s team dominated Paris FC 4–0 at Stamford Bridge, marking a perfect Champions League night.
Chelsea Women delivered a commanding 4–0 win over Paris FC at Stamford Bridge, with Sandy Baltimore, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Alyssa Thompson, and Erin Cuthbert all on target.
Baltimore opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Sjoeke Nüsken was fouled, before Kaneryd doubled the lead with a rare header before halftime. Thompson, impressive throughout, netted her first goal for the Blues shortly after the restart, finishing a low cross from Keira Walsh.
Cuthbert added the fourth following a goalmouth scramble after Sam Kerr’s header, sealing a flawless night for Sonia Bompastor’s side. Chelsea’s defense, led by Millie Bright, restricted Paris FC to no shots on target.
Bompastor introduced several substitutes, including Lexi Potter, who made her senior debut after joining the club at age eight.
The victory puts Chelsea on four points from their opening two Champions League fixtures. The Blues will return to action after the international break against London City Lionesses on November 1.
