Palmer dismisses Man Utd links, commits future to Chelsea

Cole Palmer has rejected transfer rumours linking him to Manchester United, reaffirming his commitment to Chelsea and the club’s future plans.

Cole Palmer has insisted he has “no plans” to leave Chelsea, dismissing speculation linking him to Manchester United. The midfielder said, “Everyone just talks… When I see it I just laugh,” adding that although Manchester is his home, “I don’t miss it.”

The 23-year-old, who joined from Manchester City in 2023, remains under contract until 2033. Despite a dip in form this season, Palmer said, “I’ve got no plans to move from Chelsea,” stressing the team still has targets to achieve, including FA Cup progress and securing a Champions League place.

Palmer also revealed discussions with captain Reece James over squad improvements, saying, “Me and Reece spoke a lot, about things we need, players we need to sign.” He added that the club’s ambitions and recruitment plans were key factors behind their long-term commitments at Stamford Bridge.
