Clubs could face new FIFA requirement to play homegrown U-20/U-21 players

VIA THE ATHLETIC:

The proposal has cleared initial council approval for consultation with stakeholders. If backed, it will go to the FIFA Council next year, aiming to boost youth development and homegrown opportunities globally.
