Enzo Maresca has verbally agreed to become Manchester City’s next manager, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 46-year-old former Guardiola assistant is set to sign a three-year deal, with City preparing for life after Pep.
Maresca previously worked in City’s treble-winning staff before success at Leicester and Chelsea.
An official announcement is expected soon as Guardiola’s decade-long reign winds down.
