“I don’t have much to say. I’m speechless. My second World Cup, messed it up twice,” said Havertz, who was part of the Germany team that crashed out in the group stage in Qatar four years ago.
“The only thing I can say is sorry. We are all disappointed. We had big plans this year. To disappoint again now is not a nice feeling.”
