Nottingham Forest have moved swiftly to name Oliver Glasner as their new head coach, ending Vitor Pereira’s spell in charge. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal is done, with the former Crystal Palace boss set to take over at the City Ground.
Glasner will bring key members of his backroom staff with him as he begins his new role in the Premier League. He added that the Austrian will also have a hands-on say in Forest’s transfer business as the club shapes its squad for the new season.
The move marks another shake-up under owner Evangelos Marinakis, with Glasner now tasked with steering recruitment and leading Forest into the fresh campaign.
