Kiernan Nears Newcastle Move
Newcastle United are in advanced talks to sign Republic of Ireland forward Leanne Kiernan from Liverpool. The 27-year-old, who spent part of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, remains under contract with Liverpool for over a year. A transfer fee is expected for the player who has scored 23 goals in 76 Reds appearances, and was Liverpool’s top scorer during their 2022 WSL 2 title win.
