England produced a commanding 3-0 win over Wales, highlighted by Saka’s brilliance and Guehi’s creativity.
England eased to a 3-0 victory over Wales at Wembley on Thursday, with Bukayo Saka, Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins all finding the net in a dominant performance under manager Thomas Tuchel.
Rogers opened the scoring just three minutes in, finishing from close range after Marc Guehi’s clever assist. Watkins doubled the advantage eight minutes later before being forced off following a collision with the post. Arsenal star Saka added a third midway through the first half, cutting inside from the edge of the box to curl home a fierce strike.
England captain Declan Rice led by example in midfield, while goalkeeper Jordan Pickford secured a record eighth consecutive clean sheet. Defender Marc Guehi impressed with two assists, as Tuchel’s side controlled possession throughout.
Wales struggled to create chances, failing to register a meaningful shot on target in a one-sided contest.
