Alex Scott has rejected Bournemouth’s new contract offer, but the club remains determined to keep the midfielder despite strong Premier League interest.
Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has rejected a new contract offer, fuelling interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea.
The 22-year-old England Under-21 international has two years remaining on his current deal after joining from Bristol City in 2023 for £25 million. BBC Sport reports Bournemouth have made keeping Scott a priority but insist he is not for sale, even after talks failed to produce an agreement.
The Cherries have consistently rejected approaches and remain under no pressure to cash in after securing Europa League football and raising significant funds through player sales. Scott is currently with Marco Rose’s squad in Austria for pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
