Brazil have confirmed Carlo Ancelotti will remain as head coach despite the team’s 2-1 World Cup round of 16 elimination to Norway.
Brazil retains Ancelotti as head coach until 2030 World Cup
CBF executive director Rodrigo Caetano said the federation would back Ancelotti through to the 2030 World Cup, saying “Brazil must continue a normal cycle with more calm than the frequent coaching changes that have marked the last four years.”
Ancelotti, whose contract runs until 2030, described the defeat as “the beginning of a new cycle” for the five-time world champions via Tribuna.
