Chelsea have made an approach for Real Madrid left-back Álvaro Carreras, testing the waters with an initial €25 million bid according to Team Talk.
But Real Madrid value the Spaniard at around €50 million — a huge gap between the two clubs. Despite that, Chelsea are prepared to push ahead and continue pursuing the deal as talks develop.
