England dominated possession and created the better chances, but Ghana’s backline stood firm throughout. Substitute Prince Kwabena Adu nearly flipped the script entirely, as the Black Stars threatened on the counter and almost nicked all three points late on.
Both teams remain firmly in the knockout round hunt heading into their final group matches but England will know performances like this won’t cut it deep into the tournament.
