Gunter Guides Young Dragons
Nineteen years after his Wales debut, football legend Chris Gunter, 36, returns to Wrexham’s Racecourse as head coach for the Wales U19s. He is preparing his squad for the Uefa Men’s Under-19 Championship finals, which Wales is hosting. Gunter humorously noted his players are too young to remember his 2007 debut, with some not even born then. “They definitely wouldn’t have been watching,” he joked.
