Brazil got their World Cup campaign moving again with a clean 3-0 win over Haiti in Philadelphia, and Matheus Cunha grabbed the spotlight. According to Daily Mail, Cunha scored twice in the first half, striking in the 23rd and 36th minutes before Vinicius Junior added a third in stoppage time. The result lifted Brazil after their opening draw with Morocco and put Carlo Ancelotti’s side in a stronger position in Group C. Haiti showed fight, especially after the break, but they could not find a way past Alisson.
The defeat ended Haiti’s hopes of reaching the knockout stage.
