Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to score a dramatic 82nd-minute winner against Dundee, moving Celtic within three points of the Scottish Premiership summit.
Celtic secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dundee at Dens Park to intensify the title race. The Hoops took an early lead through Yang, but were pegged back in the 57th minute by a Simon Murray penalty.
Manager Martin O’Neill responded by introducing Kelechi Iheanacho, who decisively rifled home the winner eight minutes from time after controlled buildup play from Marcelo Saracchi.
The match ended in further frustration for the hosts as Ryan Astley was sent off for a professional foul on Yang.
Despite several missed opportunities from Tomas Cvancara earlier in the game, the traveling support celebrated a massive three points.
Celtic’s relentless pressure ultimately paid off, leaving Dundee to rue their late collapse as the visitors closed the gap at the top.
