Robert Lewandowski is reportedly set to leave Barcelona this summer, with the club identifying Julian Alvarez as their preferred long-term replacement.
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly preparing to leave the Spanish giants at the end of the season, bringing an end to a successful spell at Camp Nou. According to reports, the Polish forward is seeking a new challenge after four years in Catalonia, despite remaining one of the club’s top scorers.
Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona in 2022, has scored around 120 goals in all competitions. However, with the veteran forward turning 38 before next season, the club reportedly offered only a reduced salary and smaller squad role. Reports indicate those conditions did not appeal to the experienced striker.
Italian clubs Juventus and AC Milan are said to be interested in signing him, while Barcelona have identified Julian Alvarez as their top replacement target. However, a deal may prove difficult, with Atletico Madrid reportedly valuing the Argentine forward at around €120 million.
