Libya are targeting hosting duties for the 2028 or 2032 Africa Cup of Nations, planning to use eight stadiums including flagship venues Tripoli International (45,000) and Benghazi International (40,000).
Libya last hosted AFCON in 1982, finishing runners-up to Ghana. They were also awarded 2017 hosting rights, later stripped due to security concerns.
