Manchester City are closing in on Enzo Maresca as Pep Guardiola’s successor, with talks at an advanced stage ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 46-year-old Italian, who won the Club World Cup and Conference League at Chelsea, previously served as Guardiola’s assistant during City’s treble-winning 2022-23 campaign.
Guardiola departs after Sunday’s final game against Aston Villa, ending a trophy-laden decade at the Etihad.
