Man United sign Karl Darlow as backup Goalkeeper

Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer from Leeds United to serve as back-up to Senne Lammens.

Manchester United have wrapped up their second signing in as many days, bringing in veteran goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer from Leeds United, according to The Independent.

The 35-year-old Wales international has penned a two-year deal, with an option for a third, and will serve as back-up to Senne Lammens.

Darlow’s arrival looks set to push Altay Bayindir toward the exit, with the Turkish goalkeeper linked with a return home. United have already loaned Andre Onana to Trabzonspor this month, while Tom Heaton recently signed a new one-year deal.

The move comes a day after United confirmed Andrey Santos’ £48 million arrival from Chelsea, with Youri Tielemans’ switch from Aston Villa also closing in.
