Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Bernardo Silva on a free transfer, per Marca, with the Portuguese midfielder joining until 2028, plus an option for a further year.
The 31-year-old leaves Manchester City after eight years under Pep Guardiola and was reportedly a personal request from new boss José Mourinho. Silva becomes Madrid’s latest addition alongside Cucurella, with Dumfries and Konaté still to be formally announced.
Mourinho wanted him. He got him. Simple as that.
