Newcastle United has secured Scotland defender Rachel McLauchlan from Brighton for an undisclosed fee. The 29-year-old, a veteran of 51 appearances for Women’s Super League club Brighton and an FA Cup finalist, now joins WSL 2 side Newcastle. McLauchlan, with 35 Scotland caps and multiple Scottish league and cup titles, is eager to help her new team achieve promotion.
