PGMOL is getting a new name. The Telegraph reports English football’s refereeing body will rebrand as “Pro Ref” from next season, part of a wider modernisation drive. Officials learned of the change at the organisation’s annual conference on Sunday. Led by Howard Webb, PGMOL oversees referees across the Premier League, EFL, National League, WSL and Premier League 2. The rebrand aims to clarify its role as reforms continue.
