Cristiano Ronaldo became the first male player in history to score 25 combined World Cup and European Championship goals as Portugal beat Croatia 2-1 in the 2026 World Cup Round of 32, Tribuna reports.

The 41-year-old converted a 68th-minute penalty to reach the landmark, capping a record-breaking international scoring run spanning 22 years — from Euro 2004 all the way to the 2026 World Cup, where he has now netted three times.
