Two petitions go viral as Argentines want replay while public wants them kicked out

Two rival petitions have emerged in the aftermath of the World Cup final involving Argentina and Spain.

Argentina supporters have launched a petition calling for the World Cup final against Spain to be replayed with a different referee, as debate over the officiating continues to dominate discussions after the match.

According to HF WORLD on X, the petition, hosted on Change.org, has already attracted more than 80,000 signatures from fans seeking a rematch under a new officiating team.

At the same time, a separate petition is also gathering support from football fans calling for Argentina to be removed from international competition, arguing it would protect the fairness of future tournaments.

Both petitions remain online as supporters from different sides continue to rally signatures, reflecting the strong reactions that have followed the World Cup final.
