Wolves cancel training after Tolu Arokodare dispute

Tolu Arokodare has reportedly been excluded from Wolves’ latest plans after a training-ground dispute with the club.

According to Nathan Judah, Wolverhampton Wanderers cancelled Monday’s training session after striker Tolu Arokodare reportedly refused to leave the pitch when instructed not to train with the first-team squad.

New head coach Cesar Peixoto is said to have taken a firm stance against poor discipline and player power, with the incident escalating tensions surrounding the Nigerian forward.

Nathan Judah also reported that additional security was deployed at Compton Park on Tuesday to ensure Arokodare did not enter the training ground.

The 25-year-old will not travel with the Wolves squad for Wednesday’s pre-season fixture against Maidenhead United, with further details on the situation expected in Judah’s upcoming podcast.
