Wolves sack Edwards seven months into reign

Wolverhampton Wanderers have sacked head coach Rob Edwards just seven months after appointing him, following the club’s relegation from the Premier League. Edwards won only five of his 30 matches in charge as Wolves finished bottom of the table.

According to BBC Sport, the club is already planning for life in the Championship, with Portuguese coach Cesar Peixoto emerging as a leading candidate to replace him.
