According to Daily Post, Ibrahimovic made the remarks after Portugal’s dramatic 2-1 win over Croatia, insisting the team cannot win the tournament with a 41-year-old leading the attack.
The Swedish legend argued Ronaldo has lost his mobility and sharpness, saying his reputation now outweighs his performances. He cited substitute Gonçalo Ramos’ stoppage-time winner against Croatia as proof Portugal have capable alternatives, calling the continued preference for Ronaldo “pure nostalgia-driven madness.” 
Ibrahimovic urged Portugal to prioritize team unity over individual status ahead of their Round of 16 clash against Spain.
