According to The Guardian, Switzerland delivered a 4-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in their Group B clash, taking control after a tight opening spell. The Swiss increased intensity after the break and punished Bosnia’s defensive lapses to secure a comfortable margin.
Bosnia and Herzegovina briefly threatened but struggled to maintain structure, especially after a second-half setback shifted momentum firmly to Switzerland. Goals from Johan Manzambi and a late penalty by Granit Xhaka sealed the result. Switzerland now sits strongly in Group B after the win.
The result strengthens Switzerland’s position early in the group stage and leaves Bosnia with work to do in their remaining fixtures going into their next match soon.
