Kobbie Mainoo signs new Manchester United deal until 2031

Kobbie Mainoo has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester United, committing his future to the club until 2031 after re-establishing himself as a key player.

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2031, ending months of uncertainty over his future. The 21-year-old England international, who came through United’s academy, had been linked with a loan move to Napoli in January but remained at Old Trafford after the club blocked the transfer.

Mainoo said, “Manchester United has always been my home; this special club means everything to my family.” He added, “I am determined to step up and play my role in helping Manchester United to regularly fight for major trophies in the years ahead.”

United’s director of football Jason Wilcox praised him as “one of the most naturally gifted young footballers in the world,” expressing confidence that he will become a key figure for the club. Since the managerial change in January, Mainoo has become a regular starter and also returned to the England national team setup.
