Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted his career is nearing its end as he continues to lead Al-Nassr’s charge toward the Saudi Pro League title.

Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he is approaching the end of his football career as he continues to lead Al-Nassr’s push for the Saudi Pro League title. The 41-year-old forward, who recently scored his 970th career goal in a 2-0 win over Al-Ahli, said, “I keep playing not only for this generation, but also for the previous one and the one coming next,” acknowledging time is running out.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star added, “My career has been brilliant and I want to keep it that way,” while stressing his desire to win the league. Al-Nassr currently sit eight points clear at the top and are closing in on a first title since Ronaldo joined in 2023, with speculation growing that the 2026 World Cup could mark his final major tournament.
