“You are a despicable woman” — Mbappe hits back at Paraguayan Senator who racially abused him

Kylian Mbappe has publicly condemned Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla after she racially abused him following France’s World Cup round of 16 victory over Paraguay.

In a strongly worded statement, Tribuna reports, Mbappe said, “Mrs Celeste Amarilla, you are a despicable woman and unworthy of your position. You do not represent Paraguay, that country which has sweated passion and honor throughout the competition.”

He accused the senator of overshadowing Paraguay’s historic World Cup campaign with her racism, adding, “I will never allow people like her the freedom to spread their hatred and racism across the world.”
