The French Football Federation has confirmed it will file a lawsuit against Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla over racist comments aimed at Kylian Mbappe following France’s World Cup victory over Paraguay, Tribuna reports.
“The racist comments made by Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla toward Kylian Mbappé are utterly vile and unacceptable. These statements are criminal and condemnable. They must be prosecuted here and everywhere,” the FFF said, confirming it was filing a complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office for judicial proceedings.
