The 22-year-old has already signed a four-year contract with Villa, while Chelsea expect the appearance-related clause to be triggered, securing a fee close to their £43 million valuation.
According to the BBC, Villa manager Unai Emery welcomed the Argentina international, describing him as a talented young player eager to contribute to the club’s project.
Garnacho scored eight goals and provided four assists in 43 appearances for Chelsea last season before falling down the pecking order following Morgan Rogers’ arrival. The move becomes Villa’s fourth signing of the summer.
