Atletico Madrid are nearing an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of midfielder Joao Gomes. The reported fee is around €45 million. Gomes, who has four years left on his contract, was a target in January, but Wolves’ confirmed Premier League relegation has opened the door for his departure.
