England manager Thomas Tuchel has cautioned against placing the goalscoring burden on Bukayo Saka as the Arsenal winger edges closer to a return.
Saka is looking increasingly ready and will get minutes, Tuchel confirmed but the England boss was quick to pump the brakes on expectations. The comeback of a player he described as someone the team “desperately” needs won’t magically fix their attacking struggles, he warned.
Every player must contribute, Tuchel stressed, insisting England remain in a good place and that now is no time to lean on individual names for salvation.
