Sunderland are closing in on a massive coup, securing Belgian right-back Thomas Meunier on a free transfer. The 34-year-old former Lille defender has agreed to a two-year contract.
Meunier arrived in Newcastle this morning and will undergo his medical examinations today before officially completing his move to the Stadium of Light.
