Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has welcomed incoming boss Xabi Alonso, saying the squad is excited for his July arrival at Chelsea FC.
The Blues defender praised Alonso’s success at Leverkusen and Madrid, calling him “a big name.” Hato also admitted Chelsea held tough dressing-room talks during their poor run but said morale is improving after the 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The 20-year-old added his confidence has grown after a difficult start to life at Stamford Bridge.
