Manchester United offer Michael Carrick two-year contract

VIA TELEGRAPH:

Manchester United have offered Michael Carrick a two-year contract with an option for a further 12 months, according to The Telegraph.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe approved the deal after director of football Jason Wilcox and CEO Omar Berrada backed Carrick as the best candidate.

Since taking charge in January, Carrick has transformed United — moving them from seventh to third and securing Champions League football with three games to spare.
