New Zealand etched World Cup history with the debut of defender Tyler Bindon against Iran. He formed the tournament’s first mother-son duo alongside his mother, Jenny Bindon, a former New Zealand goalkeeper who played in the 2007 and 2011 Women’s World Cups.
